Privacy Policy

1. What is a privacy policy?

Bridge Performance processes personal data of website visitors, clients and prospective clients. In this privacy policy, Richard Ritmeijer explains what data is collected, why, how long it is retained, and what rights you have. This document is drawn up in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as Bridge Performance is based in the Netherlands.

2. What personal data is processed?

Through the contact form (coaching or hire inquiry)

• Name (first and last name)
• Email address
• Phone number
• Subject of your inquiry and preferred format
• Your question or goal (free text field)

For a coaching engagement or hire

• Name and email address
• Invoicing details (where applicable)

Automatically, when visiting the website

• Technical data required to run the website (via the hosting provider, Vercel)

3. Why is this data processed?

• Performance of a contract: to deliver the coaching or hire services you signed up for (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b))
• Legitimate interest: to respond to an inquiry submitted through the contact form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f))
• Legal obligation: to retain invoicing data in accordance with the 7-year Dutch tax record-keeping obligation (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c))

4. How long is data retained?

• Contact forms: a maximum of 2 years after the last contact, unless an agreement has been concluded
• Client data (coaching, hire): 7 years after the end of the agreement (Dutch tax record-keeping obligation)

5. Is data shared with third parties?

Bridge Performance does not sell personal data. Data is shared only with:

• Vercel: the party that hosts the website
• The Dutch Tax Administration or other government authorities: only where legally required

A data processing agreement is in place with Vercel in accordance with the GDPR. Data is shared with government authorities only on the basis of a legal obligation, not under a processing agreement.

6. Cookies

This website does not place tracking cookies. Any functional cookies strictly necessary for the website to operate do not require consent.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Access: you can request which personal data is being processed
• Rectification: you can have inaccurate data corrected
• Erasure ('right to be forgotten'): you can request that your data be deleted, unless a legal retention obligation applies
• Restriction of processing: you can ask for the processing of your data to be temporarily limited
• Data portability: you can request your data in a commonly used format
• Objection: you can object to processing based on legitimate interest

Bridge Performance takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure. The website uses a secure connection (HTTPS/TLS).

This privacy policy may be amended. The most current version is always available on this page. In case of material changes, active clients will be informed by email.
